Oct 2009 Crazy Teeth and Hair

Just my crazy girls again! I think these teeth were brought home from some sort of Halloween party?

And it seems to have become a custom to have crazy 'hair' or something of the crazy sort when its time to get dressed in our pjs!

Life is fun, isn't it? Where would we be if we didn't enjoy the little things?

Oct 2009 Halloween Outfits

Regan and Kirby had some cute Halloween outfits. I'm biased. I think they are adorable! So I'm sharing ALL the pics...

Oct 2009 Ladybug Invasion

For some reason we were bombarded with ladybugs during the fall of 2009. I can't remember why they said it was the case...I think the weather was warmer than normal...maybe? Anyway, they were EVERYWHERE!!! Literally! When I would pick Taytum up from school they landed all over you, so much so that you even had to pick them out of your hair! Thank goodness they weren't THAT abundant at home, but they sure did like our backyard! The girls claimed that our backyard was being invaded by ladybugs...not that they minded! Here are some pics of them exploring and playing with their "friends"...

Going down the slide with hundreds of ladybugs around was a task in itself. We tried so hard not to squish any. I'm afraid to say that not all of them survived, but we were careful!

Tip toe and scooch around them was the plan...

Just so you know, the words "Regan" and "careful" do not belong in the same sentence!!

I'm pretty sure a big ol' SMOOCH followed this picture!!!

Good to know my girls aren't grossed out by bugs!!!

Oct 2009 Nana and Pops Visit

Though its a loooooong drive, Nana and Pops try to come visit us when they can. Here are some pics from this year's visit...

They came in October, which I think is Nana's favorite time of year, so the kids got to show off their Halloween costumes...

Our little Elmo is so stinkin' cute!

And our flying, crime fighting Bat Girl is pretty sah-weet too!

We didn't get to the pumpkin patch while they were here, which was a bummer, but Nana and Pops got to see Taytum play soccer and also got to play outside with the girls on their big swing set. It was a fun time letting the girls be themselves and to let Nana and Pops experience it all!

Oct 2009 Taytum's Soccer

Taytum still plays soccer for two seasons a year. Here are some pics from the Red Devil's fall season...



Her dad is still coaching her and she always starts in the goal. She likes to play goal and she's pretty good at it... Here she is yelling instructions to her teammates from the goal. And throwing the ball out after making a save...

The game is not complete without a little chit-chat with friend, Abby, on the sideline!
