New Hairdo
As someone who was never really into her own hair, I often have trouble with fixing the hair of my girls! Taytum at least has a little more to work with! On this day I attempted pig tails in Regan's hair as well. You can't see them too well in the first picture, but I got some other shots of her from above. She is the cutest darn thing in pigtails!

Butterfly Wings
Apple Picking
Taytum got to go apple picking on a field trip with her school this year. It was a great day. Check out the pics...
Trying to find just the right one...

Showing off her pickin's...

So I'm pretty behind on my posts for this blog... so excuse me while I try to do some catching up. The pictures below are from late summer/early fall... oh, c'mon... it's only December now!!! Hee hee hee!
Can you guess what one of Regan's favorite foods is?
I took these pictures one day after taking Taytum to school... just to show what Regan is up to when she's 'flying solo'...
Popping bubbles...
Mowing the yard...
Smelling the flowers...
Cruisin'...

Even Maddy, just chillin'...

Another day while T was at school, just Regan and me hanging out...

All was good until Regan discovered the camera...

"What's in there?"

This fall we finally broke down and got a nice patio installed in the back of our house. We have a nice sized yard that the girls and dog(s) have enjoyed. But if you wanted to sit you were pretty much out of luck. Once the guys got started, it was an all day event that kept the girls quite busy...
Look what he's doing Mom!

I will post pictures later on of the finished patio, but here's how it started...

This poor little grasshopper was minding his own business when I discovered him on our porch and called the girls outside to investigate.
Everything was all good until they wanted to investigate further... Now, I enjoy insects and seeing them and watching them and blah, blah, blah. What I DON'T enjoy is having them ON me. Being a tom boy pretty much all my life, I know that grasshoppers are ones that have those horrible CLINGY type legs (sorta like june bugs if you catch my drift)... you know, the type of legs that when they jump on to you it's impossible to get them OFF???!!!!
So while I let the girls do as they please (short of harm, of course), I calmly stepped back when I could anticipate the poor guy springing for freedom! The last thing I wanted was a grasshopper to land on me and to fling my camera 100 yards trying to get it off! Ha ha ha ha ha!

"Dude! This is hurting my feet!!!"

"Ride! Ride!"
