Museum and Fire Station...Sept/Oct 2006

In September Taytum went to the Museum of Transportation with her playgroup. She was into the trains but was not into having her picture taken!

Outside they had a smaller train you could play and sit in. Taytum and 2 of her friends had a blast fiddling with all the stuff inside.

By far Taytum's favorite part of the Museum was their 'Imagination Station.' You can see she liked the cooking area the best. Here she is shaking spices onto whatever it is that she was cooking!

In October Daddy took Taytum to the fire station. The fire trucks were all soooo cool and the firemen were soooo nice, but Taytum was not sure about the whole thing!

August 2006

We took Taytum to the NEW Busch Stadium. Here you can see the new stadium in the background. They demolished the old one, which is what is right behind Taytum and Rob.

It was VERY hot that day and the game was in the middle of nap time, so Taytum didn't last long. It was miserably hot, so I think we were all OK with going home early.

Taytum took another round of swimming lessons...

Texas Trip...July 2006

Wow, 2 vacations in one year...what were we thinking?? We also took a trip to Texas to visit Nana and Pops, Aunt Susan, Uncle Mark and cousin Hunter...

Hunter liked sitting with Taytum...he liked her toes even better!

Taytum was apprehensive at first when riding Uncle Mark's 4 wheeler, but it wasn't long before she was screaming, "FASTER! FASTER!"

Maybe I'll have a little tomboy after all? I can only hope!

Swimming at Aunt Susan's was a blast!

Taytum got to help Nana feed her cousin...how cute!

Aunt Susan painted the Princess' toe nails! Taytum sat still the ENTIRE time! :o)

Taytum finished off her visit to TX by exploring Nana and Pops' back yard with their cat, Ace.

Kelly Plays Soccer...Summer 2006

In the summer of 2006 I was asked to play for FC St. Louis, an amateur women's soccer team that is part of the WPSL. I was the oldest player on the team and it was not easy playing with girls who were still in high school as well as girls still playing at the college level. But I held my own and had lots of fun. Rob and Taytum came to almost all of my games. Taytum's cousins came and so did some of the girls that would play for my club soccer team later that summer. What an experience!
